-September 2004 suicide car bombing outside the Australian Embassy in Jakarta

At least nine people have been killed and as many as 160 injured in the massive blast. The attack left a large crater in the ground and damaged nearby buildings and vehicles. Azahari Husin, a British-trained Malaysian engineer and one of Asia's most-wanted men, is suspected of playing a part in building the devices.

-August 2003 car bombing of the J.W. Marriott hotel in Jakarta

The hotel was a popular place for visiting foreigners and diplomats in a business district near many overseas embassies. Body parts were found near the wrecked vehicle. The hotel's lobby plate glass windows were shattered, ceiling and wall panels were scattered in the street outside the lobby of the hotel. The lobby was badly damaged, with chairs and tables everywhere.

-October 2002 bombing of a nightclub on the Hindu island of Bali

-December 2000 series of bombings in Manila

The explosions occurred in close succession within a span of a few hours. There were 22 fatalities reported and approximately 100 injured.The Philippine National Police identified the bombs as one kilogram black powder bombs set to detonate using timing devices. Several members of the Jemaah Islamiyah were arrested for their suspected involvement in the bombings.

  1. You guys mentioned that a series of events that the Jemaah Islamiyah did such as the five bombings that you posted. However no details are elaborated. I assume you guys are still working of them. Hopefully, the impacts/consequences could be included for each bombing so as to allow the netsters to better understand the JI sinful deeds.
